  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 200g minced beef
  • ½ bulb onion, diced

  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs (oregano, thyme, rosemary, or your choice)

Step 1: Prepare the Mashed Potatoes

  1. Boil the chopped potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15 minutes).

2. Drain the water and mash the potatoes while they are still warm.

3. Add butter, milk, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

  1. Heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tbsp butter.
  2. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the minced beef and cook until browned.

Step 3: Assemble the Cottage Pie

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
